I'm Matt McGrew – This site is simply a place for me to post items of interest for family and friends related to Bible study, current issues, worldview, apologetics and politics.

 

About me: I've been married to my beautiful wife for over 25 years  We are blessed with

nine children – 5 boys and 4 girls - 3 of them became ours through the blessing of adoption which is kind of a special thing to us!

 

I've been working in youth ministry for 21 years. I also teach theology classes and organize Bible Conferences, do weddings, serve as an elder, teach Children’s church and whatever else needs done . . . because I LOVE the church!

 

I was really impacted by my youth Leaders and Bible teachers as a teen and I want to pass that on… My great desire is to see students’ lives transformed by Christ. And if I can give them a passion for God’s Word that will be something that will carry them through their Christian life!  

 

In my free time, I like to read and play with the kids and our American Bulldog, I ride my motorcycle when it’s not raining . . .

 

I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska so we are rooting for the Cornhuskers in Alabama.

 

I became a Christian at the age of 9 and I’ve been blessed to have a lot of Godly leaders in my life. I’ve seen in ministry the vital importance of Good and Godly leadership!
